Inspired by the dark and moody jazz clubs of New York City, this playlist by Ambient DJs’ head honcho Gregg Ambient contains a tour de force of jazz musicians/singers past and present. Some of Gregg’s favorite NYC hangouts include The Blue Note, The Village Vanguard, Bathtub Gin and Duane Park. These dimly lit and intimate grottos are ideal for enjoying jazz performances up close and personal. You might even be able to chat with a jazz legend in between sets.
For a signature drink, we suggest a dram of Japanese Whiskey (our favorite is Suntory Toki) served neat or with a single globed ice cube.
