The Mood Lounge - Wedding Afterparty Playlist
“After the show it’s the afterparty.” Following a night of hard partying and dancing, wedding guests are known to ease down at an afterparty. The playlist that follows - “The Mood Lounge” - was curated by our DJ Gregg Ambient. It is an open format, downtempo, moody, after-hours mix featuring soft synths and a powerhouse of vocal talent ranging from Bonnie Raitt to Annie Lennox to Marvin Gaye to Chris Stapleton. While the lyrical themes of these songs are not always of love and happiness, the deep musical soundscapes are the perfect companion for a late night chat and libation. This playlist was loosely inspired by the after-hours nightlife scene in New Hope PA.
For a signature drink, we’ve selected the citrus-forward IPA “Space Dust” by Elysian Brewing of Washington State. Clocking in at 8.2% ABV, sip this one slowly and melt into your easy chair as night fades into morning.
