We are excited to have guest blogger and music lover Terry J. West submit this gorgeous cocktail hour playlist titled The ‘Groove On’ Wedding Cocktail Hour. We met Terry at the trendy Trenton Social lounge where Terry is a regular on Sunday nights. Soulful, jazzy and groovy, this playlist will appeal to the young and the hip, an older African American crowd, or to the LGBTQ+ set. This playlist is ideal for an urban/downtown setting enjoyed on a breezy rooftop with the sun setting in the background. Several of these groove-laden tracks went on to be sampled in hip hop.
